 About LGBT+ MonthSo, a long time ago, people realised that everyone should be treated with love and respect, no matter who they love or how they identify. But it took a bit of time for the world to catch up to that idea. That's where LGBT+ Month comes in! See, LGBT+ Month is like a big party where we celebrate all the fabulousness and diversity of the LGBT+ community. But it wasn't always rainbows and glitter. Back in the day, people who were LGBT+ often had to hide who they really were because they were afraid of not being accepted. But brave folks stood up and said, "Hey, we're here, and we're proud of who we are!" And that's how LGBT+ Month got started – as a way to honour their courage and spread love and acceptance. During LGBT+ Month, you see parades thoughtout the world, have fun events, and learn about the history and achievements of LGBT+ people. It's like one big, joyful celebration of love and being true to yourself! So, whether you're straight as a ruler or as curly as a slinky, LGBT+ Month is a time for everyone to come together, celebrate differences, and spread a whole lot of love and glitter all around!
