About Dwali

Now, let me tell you a bit about why Diwali happens. Diwali is a Hindu festival that marks the victory of good over evil. A long time ago, there was a prince named Rama, and he fought against a mean demon king named Ravana. With the help of his friends and his wife Sita, Rama defeated the evil Ravana. The people were so happy about this victory that they lit lamps to welcome Rama back home, and that's how the tradition of lighting lamps during Diwali began.

Now, about the food! Diwali is a time when families and friends come together to enjoy delicious treats. One of the special foods is called "mithai," which are sweet snacks and desserts. There are so many different kinds of mithai, like ladoos and jalebis, and they are all super yummy!

People also share and exchange these sweets as a way of spreading happiness and sweetness to each other's lives. So, Diwali is not just about lights and fireworks, but also about sharing love, being kind, and enjoying tasty treats with the people you care about.

In a nutshell, Diwali is like a big, happy celebration of goodness and light, and it's a time for families and friends to come together, share delicious food, and make wonderful memories.
