A Harmony Hub Project – Celebrating the wonderfully diverse Harrow we call home

Every year, the flags fluttering around ParkLife Café grow a little brighter, a little bigger — and a little more “us.” Each one represents a story, a journey, and the people who make Harrow such an amazing place to live.

Annual Flag Update Day — 23 November 2025

Bring the flag of your country or heritage, stand proudly with your neighbours, and be part of Harrow’s World Community Picture — one community, one people, sharing the same air, the same time, and the same smiles.

Meet at ParkLife Café, Boxtree Park

Join us for community photo celebrating the wonderfully diverse Harrow we all call home!

----------

Every flag tells a story — of where we come from, what we share, and how far we’ve come together.

After the photo, stay for free hot soup, warm drinks, and good company at ParkLife Café — because togetherness always feels better when shared.

Every year, the flags around ParkLife Café tell the story of our wonderfully mixed and colourful community some new, some weathered, some arriving in unexpected hands from people who’ve travelled far and call Harrow home.

Until now, the “flag refresh” has been one of those gloriously disorganised ParkLife traditions that somehow always turns out beautifully. This year, we’re making it official!
On Sunday 23 November 2025, we’ll be holding our Annual Flag Update Day, as part of our Harmony Hub Project

Bring your flag, your stories, your smiles and help us celebrate the patchwork of cultures, colours, and kindness that make ParkLife Café the heart of Boxtree Park.

Bring Your small Indoor Flag!

We hang flags inside ParkLife because of the simple, amazing joy they bring to our youngest visitors! When kid's and adult spots a flag they recognise one that represents their heritage or cultural home it sparks a moment of happiness, and celebrated as part of the wider Harrow community.

If you have a small flag you'd like to share to be hung and cherished inside ParkLife Café, please bring it with you to the Annual Flag Update Day! We'd love to add your colours to our growing, year-round indoor collection.
