If you see bullying in any of it's forms', stand by the person being bullied, don't look away, bullying effects you and all our lives. (The lovely awesome Joanna Lumley said this on news a few days ago)
The Friends of Harrow Weald!
A community of ideas
Working together to make things the very best they can be, this starts with talking and doing and lashings of goodwill, volunteers offering time, sharing knowledge, and donations, now fund over 100 free community meals per month (Feb 2023), we organise several community events each month and see lots of people speaking to each other week on week.
ParkLife Café
Openminded conversations and involvement with others, helps us all to create a roadmap to the future. ParkLife Café was set up as a community space putting people first.
Volunteers help in different ways
We are not a group that tells people what they must do, but try and find out what you want to do.
Volunteers are crucial to everything going on, and we volunteers get involved with what they feel comfortable with or trying.
To expand our activities and ideas, we need a constant supply of fresh blood to help.
- Helping at community events
- Weekdays and weekends
- Magicians
- Holistic sessions
- 1 hour slots
- 2 hour slots
- 4 Hour slots

Off The Wall
All our projects evolve, Off The Wall has become one project we all enjoy because it is just love and happiness, no complications.
Our first off the wall opening was in March last year, since then we have rotating art every couple of months “ish”, and seen two Harrow Council leaders open the rotations, one person from Harrow Council’s clean team and the artists are all supporting of us and lovely.
Off The Wall - now included: Artists designed cards now available both @ ParkLife and soon online.
Off The Table
Litter Picking network.
This is a privilege to be such a very small part of the amazing army of volunteers that litter pick throughout Harrow and many areas throughout the country.
We take our hat off to all the Harrow Litter pickers, the litter picking fairy squads, groups and individuals that take responsibility for all our areas.
Recycling project
One of the volunteers has been designing an interesting solution to local recycling for the park, immediate vicinity, and ParkLife Café.
SmartParks is the next big project to move along:
We have been building a list of parks.

ParkLife Café is a project!
ParkLife Café is a community project, created to see how far we can reach throwing meaningful love and kindness into the air at strangers and then standing back to watch the amazing results.
Amazing results are validated: The events our raindrops put together and support, inspire others, the comments we receive, the google reviews and the tons of smiling faces in our photo booth and we are only 14 months old.
The ParkLife project evolves with people’s ideas.
Unity In the Community projects:
We hope you are having a wonderful happiness fuelled day, but some people around us are not that lucky.
Around us all are people that feel isolated, others having a hard time of things, unpaid carers that deserve a break, people that are in vulnerable places in their lives, maybe this is you? Unity is about creating stress free spaces, to chill on your terms and a place to feel safe.
