ParkLife is a community of ideas that is pulled together in a strange partnership of kindness to others, wanting to make things the very best they can be, this starts with talking and doing.
No park toilets, no drinking water for park users!
We have all seen community spaces close through the stupidity of lack of money, funding being stopped, granting and donations help community projects, but cannot be relied upon for longer term security. 64% of people want facilities in their parks. Historically building were carved up and used for a minority, or council run, depending on the flavour of the people in power, this creates instability for the longer term.

Breaking convention not rules. ParkLife provides a unique opportunity for parks to have a self funding vibrant space, with wellbeing for people and nature, education and financial sustainability running through everything.
Size doesn't matter!
ParkLife is setup within a glorious and tiniest of buildings, there is cafe style diner type of restaurant halls, with small meeting rooms, peaceful areas, small table games indoors and great outdoor community space, a small library, an art gallery for local artists to display their work and a community feel.

Our first year saw us create solid foundation to springboard into the future, we are not funded by the council, nor rely on grants, so openminded conversations and involvement with others, helps us all to create a roadmap to the future.
The second year saw the formation of projects created by the ideas of people, projects and parks bring people together, in different non contentious ways!

In partnership with residents, community groups, businesses and organisations, we create projects that give people downtime to stop, chill, chat, relax and laugh together.
Each project offers us all new community connection.
This often ends up creating community projects like mushrooms, and as humans we all love doing something different.
Nothing would be possible without everyone, so everything evolves with all our ideas, help and suggestions.
Making us a very fluid group that responds quickly to what's needed, this is the liberally sprinkled kindness of communities around us all.
